25 CCSD students from high schools throughout the district recently completed their summer internships with various school district departments.

Participating departments included Information Technology, Plant Operations, Fine Arts, Federal Programs, Communications, Accounting, Human Resources, Lowcountry Tech Academy, Contracts Procurement, and Nutrition Services.

At the “End of Internships Celebration” held June 30th at Lowcountry Tech Academy, students and their supervisors shared about their internship experiences.

Mr. Michael Bobby, Charleston County School District’s Chief Financial Officer spoke to the students on the value of what they’d accomplished during their summer internships and encouraged them to draw from their experiences as they make important decisions going forward.
