ATTENTION HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS:
Are you interested in working for the City of Charleston this summer and earning high school credit through an internship?
The City of Charleston Summer Youth Employment Program (SYEP) invites high school students in the Charleston community to apply for summer positions working with various city departments.
Students can gain valuable job experience and workplace skills, and better prepare themselves to achieve their educational and career goals.
Requirements:
Recreation: Youth must be 15 years of age by June 6, 2016
Parks: Youth must be 16 years of age by June 6, 2016
Deadline to apply:
Applications EXTENDED – now close on Friday, April 15th at 5 p.m.
Additional Details:
Students will work 20 hours a week for eight weeks and will be paid $7.25 per hour.
