Military Magnet’s senior College and Career Ready cohort recently took a field trip to Santee Cooper’s Cross Generating Station. It was an exciting learning experience! Cadets saw how electricity is made from different coal and energy sources like wind, water, and solar power. They also met engineers and technicians who showed them how the machines work together to keep our power running smoothly. This was a great opportunity to explore careers in science, technology, and engineering!
