After a sensational media event staged by district, school and community leaders at St. Johns High School last week to announce Ms. Lakevia Mills as the CCSD Teacher of the Year, Principal Stephen Larson gathered his faculty members again on Monday to celebrate what truly is a terrific achievement.

At the surprise gathering, Ms. Mills, a CTE Project Lead the Way Biomedical Engineering and Science teacher at St. Johns HS, received a special personalized jacket and a large banner to be displayed proudly at the school. Cake was served and everyone enjoyed the event.
