On Saturday January 13, 2024 the Charleston Digital Corridor Learning Center hosted a ChatGPT for middle and high school Charleston County School District students. Students enjoyed this event as it provided  practical guidance and examples on becoming proficient with conversational AI tools such as ChatGPT for academic and professional enhancement.

The goal of the class was not simply to convey the cursory basics of AI.  Rather, the aim was to equip our future professionals and leaders to confidently and conscientiously master these powerful educational and business tools.

14 Students Walked Away With Skills In: 

• Fundamental understanding of ChatGPT and LLMs
• Ability to engage with ChatGPT for interactive learning lessons
• Safety awareness & cautions for interacting with ChatGPT
• Ethical considerations when using ChatGPT
• Creative thinking with ChatGPT
