North Charleston Creative Arts Elementary School Dreams Big With Boeing
On March 15th and 16th students from North Charleston Creative Arts Elementary School participated in Boeing’s DreamLearners program for a career exploration field trip. Students were allowed to view the outside of the 787 from inside the hanger. They the engaged in a group activity that assigned roles and responsibilities to use a budget and fold a paper airplane and fly it. They was also a presentation about the internship and career opportunities at Boeing. Students loved working together and learning more about Boeing’s opportunities.
The DreamLearners program offers the opportunity for South Carolina students in 5th grade and students in specialized Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) programs to tour Boeing South Carolina and learn about careers in STEM, advanced manufacturing, and aerospace.
