Wando High School Culinary Program Celebrates Their Wins

Wando High School Prostart Restaurant Management team did it again! They were awarded 1st Place out of 8 teams during  the 21st Annual South Carolina State Prostart Invitational. The team lead by Sarah Dzielinski, Addie Krieger, and Carter Clark wowed the judges with their concept “Boardwalk Burgers” and ultimately came out on top for the second year in a row! The team will now represent as Team South Carolina at the National Prostart Student Invitational May 1st in Baltimore, Maryland.

The students received over $10,000 in scholarships at an awards brunch and  they can’t wait to start honing their craft and concept for competition in Maryland.

Congratulations!
