West Ashley Culinary Class Learns from Lillies of Charleston

On October 12,2023, Chef Wheeles Culinary 2 class had the pleasure of hosting Tracey Richardson, the CEO of Lillie’s of Charleston. Tracey shared her entrepreneurial journey and her passion for creating delicious and authentic sauces and Gullah popcorn.

The students were attentive and asked great questions. They were particularly interested in learning about Tracey’s creative process and how she develops new products. Tracey was generous with her time and insights, and the students left the session feeling inspired and motivated.

As a thank-you for their participation, Tracey gave each student a bottle of Lillie’s of Charleston hot sauce to take home. The students were thrilled, and they can’t wait to try it out on their favorite foods.

We are so proud of our students and their engagement in the learning process. We also grateful to Tracey Richardson for taking the time to share her story and expertise with our class.
