Western Welding Company Blue Collar Tour Visits West Ashley CAS
Western Welding Company’s 2024 Blue Collar Tour stopped at West Ashley Center for Advanced Studies on February 15, 2024. The program visits high schools and trade schools throughout the country, incorporating live welding demonstrations and prize giveaways to spread the word about the benefits of trades. 
Students from West Ashley CAS (including those from West Ashley High School, Baptist Hill Middle High School, and St. John’s High School) could watch, learn, and try their hand at various skills related to the craft. In addition, companies from the Lowcountry provided students with information about their businesses and engaged students through interactive opportunities.
