School of the Arts Welcomes Shoe Designer Roderick Pieters for Project-based Learning

Students in Caroline Baker’s Fashion Design & Apparel Construction program at Charleston County School of the Arts had a very special guest recently.

EURO Designer Roderick Pieters held a shoe design and construction workshop for over 30 students. Students used a variety of materials to design custom shoes to keep!

Check out these pictures of the students in action under the direction of Ms. Baker and Mr. Pieters.

This project-based learning opportunity was made possible in part by generous support from boosters of the fashion design program at SOA.
