The RoboEagles hosted the 2023-2024 FTC kickoff and game reveal this past Saturday. This season, FIRST Tech Challenge teams are raising the curtain on how design, creativity, and precision play a role in creating new experiences. CENTERSTAGE,  presented by RTX, inspires big ideas, bold action, and creativity. Their teams will be able to build on their STEM skills by incorporating arts and design to create a world of endless possibilities. Lights, cameras, STEAM!

Twelve teams interacted and participated in breakout sessions such as Computer-Aided Design, Arts in STEAM, April Tags, fundraising, marketing, and other topics. Most of the sessions were student-led, including the fundraising session led by our own RoboEagles!

“I want to thank Ms. Krenelka, who led our Arts in STEAM session, and Mr. Nick Gorman, who led the CAD session. I would also like to thank TSgt. White and Sally-Ann Archie for being team mentors and always supporting the mission. Shout out to Chef Kim for ensuring lunch was hot and available for all 126 participants. And a huge thanks to Dr. Perrineau and all faculty and staff who contributed to a successful season kickoff.”
