Last month West Ashley High School Culinary Arts students had the opportunity get out of their comfort zone and learned how to catch their “meal of the day”. They went crabbing with Tia downtown Charleston and had so much fun. The students learned a lot about catching crabs, how to handle them, and most importantly how to clean and prepare them properly. They took a dozen crabs back to their school kitchen and prepared a delicious meal.
