2026 Community STEM Day

2026 Community STEM Day

This year’s Community STEM Day was held at the Royal Family Life Center in North Charleston. This was a free family friendly event designed to to engage students and families in the exciting world of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math through interactive and hands-on experiences. This year was a huge success serving more than 400 community members while showcasing and celebrating all things STEM. Examples of activities included: robotics demonstrations, student scholar exhibits, STEM stations hosted by industry partners, and technology and family engagement workshops. In addition, students and their families connected with local businesses to learn about the wealth of STEM opportunities within our community.

From our K-12 STEAM Team:
It was inspiring to see so many students and families engaged in STEAM, and we look forward to building on this momentum as we continue expanding access to high-quality K-12 STEAM opportunities for all students.

We are thankful for our K-12 STEAM Team, our local business partners, and all partners who worked tirelessly to plan, execute, and contribute to this terrific event! Thank you for all that you do to support our students and families!
