Septima P. Clark hosted a Create, Build, Capture career camp for summer 2026. Both middle and high school students experienced an unforgettable week of hands-on learning, creativity, and career exploration. Campers had the opportunity to think like engineers, inventors, designers, and photographers as they designed and built mini radios, cardboard arcade games, created custom cell phone and pen holders, designed personalized initial art, and documented their work through photography.

Students  developed critical thinking, problem-solving, teamwork, communication, and creativity skills that will benefit them far beyond this career camp. They also gained valuable exposure to careers in engineering, design, manufacturing, and digital media, helping them envision exciting possibilities for their futures.

The excitement, laughter, collaboration, and pride witnessed throughout the week is memorable for all who participated. Watching students gain confidence as they transformed simple materials into innovative projects has been truly inspiring.
