Dr. Nora Hlavac took her 10th and 11th grade engineering students to visit Boeing South Carolina. Students engaged in conversation with a design engineer at Boeing about the process of building planes and working day-to-day as an engineer at Boeing. The students also thoroughly enjoyed seeing the factory and hearing about how planes move from one stage of manufacturing to another. 

Dr. Hlavac teaches PLTW Intro to Engineering Design, Human Body Systems, and Principles of Engineering. Thank you Dr. Hlavac for offering this out of the classroom opportunity for our future engineers!
