MMA Intro to Hospitality students walked to StarLight Motor Inn and met with the General Manager-Hank Horton. They were given a tour of the lobby, the upstairs bar area, a few different sleeping rooms, the “green” room for entertainment, the pool, and the game room. 

StarLight is a fully-restored Mid century motel here in North Charleston and family-run since 1961. The Starlight was conceived as an affordable and accessible destination for everyday folks.

What an amazing opportunity for these students to learn about the hospitality history behind this local hidden gem.
