During the week of June 7-10, 2026 17 North Charleston High School Cadets traveled to Aiken, SC and successfully completed Basic Leadership Training.

Throughout the training, cadets participated in orienteering, watch-standing duties, drill and pass-in-review procedures, team-building exercises, and athletic events designed to develop leadership, discipline, and teamwork. Their motivation, enthusiasm, and commitment to learning were evident throughout the program, resulting in a rewarding and educational experience for all involved.

The group was supported by one dedicated parent volunteer and a teacher chaperone, whose guidance and encouragement helped contribute to the success of the training.
