R.B. Stall Named Jostens 2024 National Yearbook Program of Excellence

R.B. Stall High School’s yearbook program has been recognized for its dynamic and engaging yearbook and has achieved the Jostens National Yearbook Program of Excellence 2024 award at the Bronze Level.

The National Yearbook Program of Excellence recognizes engaging yearbooks that reflect a broad representation of the student body while helping students to develop 21st-century skills such as communication, collaboration, and information and communication technologies (ICT) literacy.

The R.B. Stall’s award-winning yearbook program is led by Paris Roberts, English Copy Editor, Brandon Bailey, Photography Editor, and Ruby Barrios, Spanish Copy Editor, under the direction of Whitney Bumgarner, R.B. Stall’s yearbook adviser.

I am very proud of the work my students in Tribal Customs, the upper-level Digital Art and Design classes, have put into The Archive, R.B. Stall’s bilingual yearbook, this year. Creating a yearbook is a great way for students to apply the various standards learned in the previous levels of Digital Art and design while gaining real-world experience. Tribal Customs is a student-based enterprise that not only creates the Yearbook, but also supports the school in other ways such as photography, graphic design, production of apparel, indoor/outdoor banners, buttons, posters, and more.

Congratulations to the Tribal Customs Yearbook team for their hard work and dedication!
